I have to say, I completely agree with the reviewer who called this a “gaudy monstrosity.” I received this as a gift as well, and while the sentiment behind it was sweet, the actual item is… disappointing.
The quality is shockingly low — I wouldn’t pay $20 for it, let alone the full price. The rose is bulky, covered in excessive glitter, and the paint job is sloppy at best. The acrylic base looks incredibly cheap, and the engraving is barely legible. It feels like something you’d find at a dollar store trying to pass as “luxury.”
Like the other reviewer, I’m now stuck with this thing. It doesn’t match my home at all, and I have no idea what to do with it. I feel bad throwing it away, but it’s also too ugly to display.
Unless your partner loves over-the-top, glittery, and cheaply made decor, I’d strongly recommend skipping this. The thought might count, but the execution misses the mark completely.
