The box is of good quality, and the "bloom" effect gives it a level of elegance that adds to the experience. I was not present when the gift was opened, but the feedback was very positive. The response matched what I imagined when I opened it myself. I had it all delivered to me first so that I could inspect it. This being my first purchase, and never actually seeing one in person, the rose and box were fine without the vase. The vase itself is beautiful in design, and would be perfect if there was a glass version that was dipped and trimmed to match the rose it goes with. Am planning on collecting these for myself, and maybe more... Thanks for creating a beautiful product, and for getting it to me so swiftly, and trouble free.
