Security Review Request Information

You may have received an email or a text message from us asking for order information and screenshot of your credit card transaction. Some customers are rightfully skeptical that this requesting is a a phishing or scam attempt in itself.

We created this guide to answer questions you may have and to provide information and transparency around how and why we ask for this information.

If you are not comfortable providing information to us that's OK. You may request that your order be canceled and refunded any time prior to the order being processed.

Here are the important things to know:

How We Send These Requests

We will only send a request for information from our customer service email address (helpdesk@theforeverrose.com) or our customer service text messaging number (+1-570-798-7095). Please contact us immediately if you receive a request from any other source.

What We Ask For (and What We Don't Ask)

We usually only ask for a screenshot of your online banking transaction and for you to confirm the shipping address.

Examples of the type of screenshot we are looking for are shown below, but generally speaking we need to see all the detail that goes with the charge including the date, the description, any transaction IDs or codes, and the amount.

You are welcome to (and we encourage you to) cover up other information about your account, other charges, balances, etc.

We will never ask for your credit card number, security code, social security number, or any other private information you wouldn't normally share with a stranger.

Why We Ask For The Screenshot

Fraudsters find clever ways to get your credit card number and make unauthorized charges. It's much harder for them to gain access to your password protected accounts. Our charge descriptions are unique for every order. By asking for information showing the charge in your online banking, we're able to identify whether the person placing the order also has access to the online banking or app. This method is not 100% perfect, but we've found it's a fast and easy way to verify charges without having to ask for and handle sensitive information.

If You Are Not Comfortable, You May Request A Refund

If you are not comfortable providing information to us that is your choice. You may request that your order be canceled and refunded any time prior to the order being processed. You may attempt to place a new order, but the results may be the same.

How Orders Are Selected / Flagged

We use a combination of machine learning, human review, and software tools to review each and every order for fraud. Some card issuers provide us additional information and signals such as matching the order address to that of the known address for the card holder. The specific criteria we use is a secret.
