How To Clean A Forever Rose

Your Forever Rose is crafted to last a lifetime. To keep its brilliant shine and beauty looking its best, we recommend following these simple care and cleaning steps:


  1. Dust Gently: Use a clean, dry, microfiber cloth or a soft feather duster to gently remove any surface dust. A small vacuum or canned air works great too.
  2. Clean Safely: If the rose needs a deeper clean, you might consider purchasing our official polishing cloth, which is treated with a non-toxic, non-abrasive formula. You may also use any soft, non abrasive cloth - we like microfiber cloths. Lightly dampen your cloth with warm water. Gently wipe the petals and stem. Never submerge your rose in water or use harsh chemical cleaners (such as Tarnex), as these can damage the precious metal plating. For the tight areas inside the petals, you can use a small foam makeup brush or a bathroom Q-Tip type product.
  3. Dry Completely: If you used a damp cloth, immediately follow up with a dry, soft cloth to buff the surface and prevent water spots.
  4. Display with Care: To preserve its vibrant color for generations to come, display your rose indoors and away from direct, prolonged sunlight or high-humidity environments.

Notes

  • Avoid Heavy Pressure
    The leaves, bloom and stem are delicate and will crack if heavy pressure or twisting forces are applied. Do not rest your rose on its side will pressing downward. Hold the rose as close as possible to the area you are cleaning or polishing.
  • Do Not Submerge
    Do not fully submerge your rose in water or chemicals.
  • Silver Roses
    Our roses are plated in nearly pure silver. Silver will naturally tarnish and turn black over time. Some people like the patina and choose to leave it, but for heavy tarnish we recommend Wright's Silver Cream. Never use Tarnex or other harsh chemicals on any of our roses.
